GROWTH’S STRATEGIES FOR ITALIAN SMEs. A FRAMEWORK FOR STUDY

In a socio-economic scenario, which is constantly evolving, the enterprise should always renovate and modernise itself at all levels, in its internal organisation and in the markets where it operates. At the Italian level, the economic development of the country calls for a reorganisation of the economic activity as a whole effectiveness, productivity and managerial culture spread. This paper intends to represent a starting point for further deepening that proposes a framework of reference that, thanks to the analysis of more qualified and specific literature on these issues, will try to answer in particular to three main questions: 1. which strategic innovations are characterising the small enterprise and which development model seems to be possible, in the light of the new evolution trends; 2. which constraints interfere with this process of growth; 3. which are the existing relationships between real aspects and financial aspects, and how the role of the public authorities takes shape.
